One of our most prominent participations this year is the signing of 7 cooperation agreements with major Egyptian universities that offer programs in the fields of publishing and packaging. These agreements aim to:
Training students and new graduates within the chamber’s member companies
Qualifying them with the practical skills required in the actual labor market
Facilitating their employment and integration into the private sector.
Enabling sustainable growth in the packaging sector
The Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries successfully organized a three-day intensive training workshop on Green Packaging, Export Compliance, and Innovation in conjunction with Propack Middle East and North Africa 2025 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center
The training included specialized insights from the National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) about Food contact materials and packaging safety standards. It also included interactive sessions with the Industry Modernization Center (IMC) on pharmaceutical product packaging and local manufacturing, followed by a detailed presentation of the regulatory aspect by representatives of Global Arc on the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). The last day witnessed the highlights of the General Authority for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) sessions.Focus on international packaging standards, carbon footprint certifications, and practical tools to support companies’ export readiness.

Engineer Nadeem Elias, President of the Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries, participated in the “Eurasia 2025” exhibition - one of the most prominent international gatherings specialized in the printing and packaging sector. His participation was an affirmation of Egypt's growing role in the global industrial arena, and an embodiment of the Chamber's commitment to enhancing Egypt's presence in international forums.
During his visit, engineer Nadeem Elias held extensive meetings with a number of major investors and decision-makers, and also gave a keynote speech during the exhibition's dialogue sessions. His speech focused on the shift towards sustainability, the role of innovation in enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian industry, and the importance of regional integration in supply chains.
