From the city of Düsseldorf, Germany, and specifically from within the exhibition center (Messe Düsseldorf), the Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries continues its active presence at Interpack 2026, the largest global event in the packaging sector.

Since the first day of the exhibition, which launched on May 7 It continues until May 13, 2026. Mr. Engineer Samir El-Baily - Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and a number of Board of Directors members present at the exhibition, were keen to have a field presence with the Egyptian exhibitors. The visit was not limited to protocol ceremonies, but included detailed tours for direct communication with each participating Egyptian company, to provide full support, overcome obstacles, and enhance the opportunities for the Egyptian product to reach global markets.

Seminar on “Packaging Sustainability and Waste Management”

A distinguished success of the “Packaging Sustainability and Waste Management” symposium organized by the Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries 💚♻️

The symposium witnessed a large presence and interaction from the members of the Chamber, where the latest legislation and global trends in the field of packaging sustainability were reviewed, in addition to discussing packaging waste management strategies and best applicable practices in the Egyptian market.

The symposium also provided a direct opportunity for attendees to communicate. With experts and specialists, and presenting the challenges they face, which contributed to providing practical solutions that support business development and achieving sustainability.

Many members have shown a clear interest in applying sustainability concepts within their facilities, and benefiting from the technical programs provided by the Industrial Modernization Center, especially with regard to improving productivity, reducing cost, carbon footprint, traceability reports, and extended responsibility for manufacturers.

The Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries organized a workshop entitled “Total Quality Management (TQM) in Flexographic Printing” in the city of Alexandria, after intense days of training and practical application, where the program witnessed a distinguished interaction from the participants, which was clearly reflected in the level of understanding and application within the work environment.
The program was distinguished by the implementation of a practical aspect within the Elshakikan Screen Center printing press, which allowed the participants direct realistic experience on production lines, and linking theoretical concepts to the actual application of management foundations and rules. Quality.
Engineer Samir Al-Baili - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries was also keen to meet the trainees and hand them certificates of attendance at the training, in appreciation of their effective participation and keenness to develop their skills.
The workshop stressed the importance of applying comprehensive quality concepts as a basic pillar for developing the flexible packaging industry, and raising the efficiency of production processes in line with the latest international standards.

From school seats to the heart of industry! 🏭✨

Within the framework of the awareness initiatives adopted by the Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries to connect the emerging generations with the Egyptian industrial reality, Al-Safwa School in Alexandria organized an educational field visit to the headquarters of “Al-Saadani Printing Press”, one of the distinguished industrial edifices in the Bride of the Mediterranean. The visit aimed to inform the students about the development of printing technology and modern manufacturing stages.

During the visit, the students went through an interactive experience that began with a review of the documentary and production cycle of the printed product. The printing press specialists provided a simplified explanation that was compatible with the students’ age group, which included the following stages:

1- The pre-press stage: How digital drawings are transformed into plates.
2- The printing process: Watching the giant machines during operation and understanding the mixing of basic colors.
3- The final preparation stage (Finishing): The cutting, folding, and packaging processes that precede the product’s arrival to the consumer. Final.

These visits come in line with the Chamber’s strategy to enhance industrial awareness, as the Chamber always seeks to encourage member companies to open their doors for student visits and practical training. Watching “Made in Egypt” being realized before the eyes of students is the best way to prepare a generation that appreciates the value of the national industry and aspires to work in it.

The Chamber organized a visit for members coming from Alexandria Governorate to the Grand Egyptian Museum, as part of the Chamber’s keenness to provide distinguished services and activities to its members.

This visit comes as a unique opportunity to learn about the ancient Egyptian civilization, and visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and the unique antiquities it contains, in addition to learning about the most important tourist attractions in Cairo, in an atmosphere dominated by a spirit of friendliness and communication among the members of the Chamber.
